Each year we illuminate the park in honor of Elora and her brave battle with childhood brain cancer.

Location

Heritage Park
1591 N 1075 W
Farmington, UT

date of event

Nov 25th, 2019

Time

5:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Together we can make a change…

It all started with a few strings of lights and a group of inspired neighbors hoping to bring a smile to the face of a little girl battling terminal brain cancer. Even though she is no longer with us, the tradition of filling the park with light and love continues in her honor! Come see the park lined with lights, hundreds of holiday inflatables, and view the inspiring Tree of Hope.

We will kick off the holiday season on November 25, 2019 at our Elora’s Light’s Family Night. Please join us for a night filled with food and holiday fun as we raise money to support childhood cancer research.

We will have pictures with Santa, food trucks, games, train rides for children, donuts, hot chocolate, a silent auction with many gift baskets, and more! Come join the fun and raise money for an excellent cause.

*All proceeds from the event will go directly to childhood cancer research.

Silent Auction

We have partnered with many generous community businesses this year to expand our silent auction and will have over 30 gift baskets to bid on! Some of the baskets include: a round of golf for four at Oakridge Country Club, lower bowl tickets to a Utah Jazz game, multiple date night baskets with dinner gift cards and movie tickets. We also have a lot of fun passes to SeaQuest, Discovery Gateway Children’s Museum, Little Gym, Boondocks, Cherry Hill, DartSide, Get Air, Hogle Zoo, Living Planet Aquarium, Cross E Ranch Baby Animal and Fall Festivals, Classic Fun Center, and more. This is a great way to get some Christmas shopping done early and raise money for a great cause. Be sure to stop by the silent auction when you come to the event!

Food

We will have delicious Stephen’s hot chocolate, donuts, nachos, fresh popcorn, and food trucks, of course. The Miso Yum, Waffle Love, World’s Best Corn Dogs, and the Hungry Hawaiian trucks will be there all night—come hungry!

Games & Train Rides

The games were such a hit last year we decided to add more this year! We will have five games total—Santa Cookie Toss, Ice Fishing, Pin the Nose on Frosty, Reindeer Ring Toss, and Mini Golf. All games will be 2 tickets to play and every player will receive a prize. We will also have train rides for children through the park. Train rides are 3 tickets each.

Choirs

Holiday choir performances by Music and Me at 6:30 p.m., Farmington High School at 7:00 p.m., and Centennial Junior High at 7:30 p.m. (choir performances are free of charge).

Pictures with Santa

Jolly, old Santa Claus will be available for pictures with you and your family from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Meredith Carlson Photography will be our photographer this year. Photos will be sold for 10 tickets and will be available online after the event for digital download.

Tree of Hope

Covered in thousands of gold lights, the Tree of Hope, is to honor and remember all children who have battled childhood cancer. The glowing tree stands as a symbol of courage and hope. We hope you feel inspired by meaning of these sparkling branches. Let’s band together and go gold for pediatric cancer research!

THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS!
